These Peanuts Christmas decorations will help you showcase your love for the Peanuts gang while filling your yard with a fun, festive spirit. Most of the outdoor Charlie Brown Christmas decorations can be up-lit by a spotlight, which you can pick up at your local hardware store.
As your guests arrive, they’re shown the way with some fun Solar Color Changing Globe Lights, which lead right into your whimsical Peanuts Christmas display. These colorful walkway lights stand 25″ high and have a fluted, plastic globe that stands on a stainless steel pole.

Candy Cane Christmas Decorations

Spice Up Your Holiday Season with Some Quick & Easy Candy Cane Christmas Decorations
For me, nothing says Christmas time quite like Peppermint Candy Canes. Candy Canes remind me of when I was a child and my grandmother would completely cover her faux-snow artificial Christmas tree with hundreds of candy canes, and then tell me I could eat just one (until my mom left the room). Now you can decorate your entire home with candy cane decorations that you can find already made or you can always make your own.
Outdoor Candy Cane Decorations
A fun and crafty candy cane decoration you can make is to take a round piece of Styrofoam® (as big as you want) and cover it with some red and white striped fabric, tying and bunching the fabric on top. Attach a string the top of the Styrofoam® candy cane decoration and hang it from a tree or from the eaves of your home. Make several of these hanging peppermints and your yard will look like a candy cane fun house just in time for the holidays.
Line your walkway or long driveway with some pathway Peppermint Lights that will show your guests right where the sweet candy cane Christmas party is. These giant 7 1/2″ diameter candies will dazzle your arriving guests with a 7-color light show created by energy saving, bright LEDs.
If you choose to use your pathway Candy Cane Lights in the fence and you’re looking for a more understated walkway, use some clear or white Electric Luminaries to light your walkway. If you want to add some excitement to your walkway, install a couple rows of Shooting Star Pathway Lights that have white LEDs that light up in a traveling motion down a clear pole.
Add some giant Peppermint Christmas Decorations to your yard to turn your home into the candy land of the neighborhood. These peppermint decorations come in 2 styles – a peppermint ornament and a peppermint wrapped candy – each sparkle with red, white and green glitter and will be the focal point of your candy cane Christmas decorations when they are up-lit by a spotlight. You can enclose these candy cane decorations in a “fenced-off” area using Peppermint Lights as your festive barrier.
Flank your trees, the front door or even the garage with a couple of 58″ high Stacked Peppermint Christmas Yard Art pieces that are designed of sparkling tinsel fabric and feature 60 clear mini lights. The back of these narrow, 16″-wide peppermint decorations are flat so they are easy to position against a wall or in front of a landscape bed.
Don’t forget to decorate the front door! Hang a beautiful red and white Lighted Candy Cane Wreath on your front door to greet guests as they arrive. If you can’t find a candy cane wreath that is premade, you can make your own by using a Lighted Christmas Wreath or a Bayberry Wreath and tie red and white ribbons, candy cane ornaments or peppermint candies to it. If you have a large door and you want to really make your entrance a focal point, hook a Triple Wreath Door Hanger to the door and you will instantly have 3 beautiful wreaths, accented with pine cones and faux berries, hanging in front of a sturdy red canvas ribbon. You can mix and match candy canes and peppermints to these wreaths to give your front door a truly, one-of-a-kind appearance.
Trim the eaves of your home, above the garage or line your picture windows with a bright Lighted Swag and Bow Set. The lighted swag measures 49″ across and has two white swag frames pre-lit with white mini-lights and a lighted 30″ red tinsel bow.
Wrap up the trees in your front yard with some red and clear LED Tree Trunk Candy Cane Lights that are pre-strung with 150 mini-lights evenly spaced in a tangle-free, 15″-wide net. Alternate wrapping red and white strands of tree lights to give your tree trunk a very unique candy cane effect.
Hang some red or white Christmas lights from your eave and throw some white net lights over your bushes and shrubs to complete your outdoor candy cane decoration theme.
Indoor Candy Cane Christmas Decorations
After you’ve set up your outdoor candy cane decorations, you can move your peppermint theme indoors and begin in the kitchen. Set your table with red chargers and white dishes, white napkins and red napkin rings. Since a candy cane is easy to copy, you can always go to your local arts and crafts store and get a candy cane cut-out to trace. Then use arts and crafts paint to paint the decorations on your chargers, napkin rings, table name tags, etc.
You can usually find inexpensive candy cane garland that you can wrap around light fixtures, in your swag or in the wreaths that you place around the house. You can also find candy cane (or at least red and white striped) wrapping paper, ribbons and a velvet red and white tree skirt. Decorate your tree with an overwhelming number of red, white and silver bulbs and sprinkle in just a few candy canes. You can also add several Peppermint Candy Ornaments to your tree to complete your theme. As long as you continue with red and white, you can throw anything that has a candy cane on it into your candy cane decorations.
You can also decorate your Christmas tree with some porcelain candy cane ornaments that snap open so you can hide a little treasure inside. If you’re throwing a Christmas party with a candy cane decoration theme, you can set these candy cane ornaments on your table and put your small party favors in them at each place setting.
Place white candles tied with candy cane ribbon, which can be found at most craft stores, around your home or, if you’re too busy making all of your other candy cane decorations, just buy some red or white glitter LED candles.
A relatively inexpensive way to take your candy cane decoration theme all throughout your house is to add some ornament display trees covered in candy cane ornaments or actual candy canes in rooms like the bathroom, kitchen and even on the dining room table. The ornament display trees come in multiple sizes, but I would suggest the smaller trees that won’t take up too much space.
Remember, if you go with a candy cane theme, you have to go all out. You can never have too many candy cane decorations, red and white lights, peppermint candies or red and white decorations.
